((Guess who is back! I’m gonna take another swing at this. So… later today, I’ll write something up.))

“Oh. Hello Raiko.”

“Greetings to you as well, Miharu. Have you been holding up alright? You look a tad bit thinner…. perhaps you should eat a bit more before you become malnourished, it’s not good for your health. I imagine the last thing you need right now would be health issues.”

“Have you seen Raimei lately?”

[He folded his hands - allowing him to rest his head upon them and gaze at the girl with a bemused smirk on his face, something was a little different about this one… attitude, perhaps… but it was certainly the same person.]

“Oh, not much, Miss Sakura. Simply planning out things to do on my significant other’s birthday - much better to do things two days before than at the last minute, no? Do not worry, by the way. I’m not stalking you. I’ve just met… hmm - what term would you prefer; doppelgangers, doubles, etc?”

“How about you? Have you gotten into anymore trouble?”

“Oh yeah, the double thing.” Kyoko sighed and rolled her eyes. “You know my name, so who are you? And who’s birthday is coming up?” She figured whether or not she had gotten into any trouble was her business alone.

“My name is Raikou Shimizu; head of the Shimizu clan along with my younger sister. I do indeed carry a sword with me but if you act as your doubles did, I have absolutely no reason to turn it against you. Unless you enjoy practice fights.”

I honestly need some practice. All possible sparring partners disappear much too quickly - and you cannot rely on criminals alone to keep your skills up. All this relaxation time has made me the slightest bit antsy. Itching for a fight.

“His name is Gau. We’ve been partners for a very long time. A little younger than myself, very messy black hair, seen writing in his journals at every possible moment. Have you met him? He’s turning seventeen on the 28th, and I’d like to do something nice for him.”

Kyouko chewed on some gum as she looked at the newcomer.

“…What’s up?”

do you want to smang it with gau

“That’s a good question - do I? Isn’t this what people refer to as ‘tmi tuesday’ where you ask rather invasive questions with wild abandon? Ahh, I’ll let you in on a little secret then because it’s only fair.”

[The slightest bit of a crooked smile shows on his face. Gau would probably cry about this later.]

“I might want to. I don’t think you need to know anything else, though. Shoo.”

How many people have succumbed to your sexual healing schemes? Are you the master of healing sexually?

“I don’t know, perhaps you should ask Gau.”

gamergau:

Raikou-san, why must you torment Yoite so much? There are only so many balloons a boy can take!

“Torment? I’ve simply been trying to apologize to him for a remark I made a while back… oh dear, have I upset him again? I thought the balloons got my message across quite well. Perhaps I misunderstood his reaction of ‘no more!’”

If only you knew…

“E-Eh? I look like a very likable young lady? Oh why thank you Raikou, that’s very kind of you to say that.”

Of course at this point, Yuno wasn’t subjectable to comments such as those, so instead she faked a blush and thanked Raikou for the compliment. Fidgeting with her fingers, Yuno decided to ask another question before addressing the one that was directed towards her.

“Raikou-san, if you don’t mind me asking, what two jobs do you do for a living?”

And then the question that was aimed towards her, “I’ve been all right as well, I’ve been spending time with my boyfriend Yukkii and we’ve been closer than ever.”

Ah, I had a feeling that question would come up at some point.

“Ah, well… I make calligraphy paper. It’s not the best job but it puts food on our table and occasionally I’ll bring back some of the extra paper that didn’t turn out correctly. The second one is a bit harder to explain, and you’d probably question me for it. Regardless, you wished to know… so I’ll tell.”

“For starters, I used to be part of a group called Kairoshuu - ever heard of it? I joined after some… unfortunate incidents within my family. I come from a family of samurai so naturally, they put me to work and found me quite efficient. For a few years I was partnered with a man named Yukimi - he’s still a dear friend of mine -and he taught me the ropes.”

There is no reason for her to know of my past, simply explaining about the Kairoshuu should be enough anyway. I’m still a murderer, it’s just not like that… it’s different.

“When I was 17 I encountered a young boy in an alley while on patrol, he was getting beaten and the offender was probably just about ready to finish him off; so I stepped in and killed them. A little flick of the wrist and a life is gone. How interesting, no? That’s how I got my partner. Gau seems to worship me for saving him. We worked on an undercover sector called Wakachi for a few years - I’d strike down criminals while he collected information on them. We quit a while ago…”

He had to laugh. Here he was, explaining this to a girl who looked around the age of his younger sister. Most people that age would think you’re crazy for it - perhaps I am - and you’d probably end up dealing with the police.

“Even now that I’ve left; I still patrol and eliminate crime when I see it. It wouldn’t be right to just let it slip. Glad to hear you’ve been doing well, I have a sister who’s probably around your age, so I tend to worry about some people, I see bits of my sister in them.”

A quick glance towards the girl seemed to prove that she was indeed just an teenage girl - nobody to draw his sword at. Or at least, not yet. It’s better to keep those thoughts at bay unless it really comes down to the wire, no? Raikou flashed her a small grin; her sense of style was quite nice. Pink… not as unusual as I thought. Perhaps I’ll dye my hair again.

“Hello there, I don’t recall speaking with you, so I best introduce myself. The name is Raikou - Raikou Shimizu. I’m a bit known in the area so you might have heard my name being mentioned… It’s a pleasure to met you, miss. What shall I be calling you?”

Yuno noticed the male directing his voice towards her and she began to let her mind wander. Just who is this man? What does he want?
“It’s nice to meet you Raikou, my name is Gasai Yuno.”
Yuno didn’t want to give too much information away, just her name would suffice, nothing about her future diary, or anything pertaining to her ‘side-life’ we’ll put it.

“How have you been lately?” Yuno asked, continuing the conversation between the two of them.

“Yuno, that’s quite a nice name.”

“I’ve been alright, I suppose. Settling down with my partner is a little harder than I thought it would be… it’s strange not to be out every few nights on the job. Or should I say second job? Anyway - on occasion I’ll still find someone I need to eliminate, but it’s been relatively quiet since January.”

My skills have probably decreased as well, I’m out of practice. Perhaps I should give Raimei a call. It’d be a good way to keep track of her as well. Crime doesn’t stop though - sooner or later I’ll get someone. Maybe Gau will start going on patrol with me once more.

“What about yourself? You look like a very likable young lady.”

wingsofegypt replied to your post: Arsinoe blushed, looking away from the pink-haired man in embarrassment. He probably wouldn’t even recognize her in her new body, but the anon told her to kiss all of her friends, even the old ones. “I’m sorry, but an anon told me to do this.” The angel told him, before quickly giving him a small kiss.

“I’m so sorry.. an anon shipped me with all of my friends, old and new, and so I had to kiss you..” Of course, that wouldn’t make sense to him at all, but she was not going to lie to the man.

“I’m fairly sure the basis of a friendship includes both parties actually knowing each other and I do not even know your name, so I’m beginning to question your sanity. Have you mistaken me for someone else? I imagine it would be quite hard to do that because you generally don’t run across people with pink hair - especially men.”

The voice seems similar - but you hear things like that often.

“Do you want to explain a little bit more? I’m being nice here, so you better start before I change my mind.”
